Provide necessary intervention and support to relevant institutions to make the necessary amendments and to implement the Sri Lanka National Human Resources Policy and Employment Policy approved by the Cabinet of Ministers. Coordinate the projects implemented in Sri Lanka by the International Organizations relevant to the scope of the department. Provide necessary facilities and knowledge to the officers of the department and conduct the propaganda about department's programmes.
Functions of the Human Resource Management Division
- Make recommendations and proposals to relevant institutions related to the promotion of each field under the National Human Resources and Employment Policy
- Make recommendations and proposals on the management and effective use of human resources in Sri Lanka
- Manage the Website of the department and the Web Portal for which the job seekers and job providers get registered
- Inform the Departmental officers about the global job market and future jobs
- Coordinate the programmes/ projects implemented by the International Organizations relevant to the scope of the department
